The Witcher is an interesting adventure in a world full of monsters, magic and war kingdoms. It is a hit show on Netflix that is based on the book series and the game series of the same name. Its producers, actors and staff have ensured that their hard work has created something new and unique. Here are the 10 behind-the-scenes facts that most fans don’t know about Netflix show The Witcher.

NUMBER 10. GERALT AND YENNEFER PERFORMED THEIR ACTION

SEQUENCES THEMSELVES

Henry Cavill played Geralt of Rivia, and as the main lead and the Witcher, he had multiple fight sequences and action scenes. Although many of the fans have noticed by now that Cavill is seen clearly in every sequence, the fun fact is that he didn’t have any body-doubles. Yes, you listen right, Henry Cavill did all his stunts himself and went through a strict training regime throughout the filming. Henry Cavill is a dedicated actor and made the character realistic with his action and swordsmanship. Another actor who did most of her stunts on her own was Yennefer, played by Anya Chalotra.

NUMBER 9. ELDER SPEECH IS REAL

While English is the primary language of the series, several of the characters who can use magic, like Geralt and Yennefer, know Elder Speech. Much like fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien, who invented Elvish for The Lord of the Rings, Andrezej Sapkowski wanted to create a unique language for the world he was building in his books. David J. Peterson (who created the Dothraki and Valyrian tongues for Game of Thrones) used a combination of German, Welsh, Irish, and Latin to create Elder Speech for the show.

NUMBER 8. FREYA ALLEN WASN’T SUPPOSED TO PLAY CIRI

Freya Allen, who played Ciri, a captivating character that engages both the storyline and the audience on her journey throughout the show. But actually, she wasn’t supposed to play that role; instead, she was cast for a minor role in the first episode as “Marilka.” But as fate had it, show-makers didn’t find any marvellous actor for the role, and after the suggestion of Sophie Holland, Freya was cast.

NUMBER 7. THE DRYADS ARE ALL NATURAL

In episode four, “Of Banquets, Bastards and Burials,” the audience is introduced to the all-female forest dwellers: the Dryads. In this episode and the one that follows, they provide Princess Ciri with shelter and allow her a brief reprieve from her journey following the fall of Cintra. Real tree bark, leaves, and other plant materials were incorporated into the Dryad armor, with some costumes even sporting (imitation) human bones.

NUMBER 6. BLURRING THE LINES BETWEEN THE GAME AND THE SERIES

While most of the influence of the show comes from Andrezej Sapkowski’s novel with the same title, the series also had some hidden ties to the video game too. ‘Tomek Baginski’ brought the concept of The Witcher to Netflix, and also there are some reference scenes just to give fans a nostalgia for games.

NUMBER 5. LINKS TO GAME OF THRONES

The Witcher can’t help but be compared to another popular medieval fantasy series, Game of Thrones. It even has a few connections. It also featured fight choreography by Vladimir Furdik, who helped train Kit Harrington on Game of Thrones as well as played the Night King as his sworn enemy. He trained Henry Cavill to wield his sword with effortless grace, including creating a balletic fighting style just for Geralt.

NUMBER 4. MOST OF GERALT’S DIALOGUE WAS CUT

Originally when Lauren Schmidt was writing the script, Geralt had much more dialogue. Henry Cavill shot all the scripted scenes but in the editing room, she found that he was capable of conveying much of the content of his lines with facial expressions and body language. When all was said and done, over half of his dialogue was cut, turning him into the hulking brooder that we see on screen. Much of what Geralt is going through can be seen in Cavill’s performance, leaving the chattier banter to Jaskier or Yennefer. Cavill did work on giving Geralt a particular “Rivian” accent that was memorable.

NUMBER 3. IT HAS A FEW CONNECTIONS TO THE GAME

The series is based on Andrezej Sapkowski’s books and not the popular video game series, but Tomek Baginski, an award-winning animator who helped bring the games’ stunning visuals tonight was the one responsible for pitching The Witcher to Netflix. Not only that, but Baginski is on the production board for Platige, the Polish production company behind the series, ensuring that while it doesn’t follow the games’ storylines there are still references for fans to enjoy. For instance, the “Geralt bathtub scene” that is the opening sequence of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

NUMBER 2. HENRY CAVILL NET NET WORTH

Henry Cavill is the star of this series. He plays Geralt, but fans also know him as Superman. His character is known as a witcher and his destiny becomes intertwined with Ciri’s after he invokes a sacred law on her mother. He has starred in Man of Steel, Immortals, and Mission: Impossible – Fallout. He is originally from England and is the fourth in a family of five boys. He is not married, despite being previously engaged, so he now has a net worth of $25 million to spend on himself.

NUMBER 1. IT’S REALISTIC WITHIN REASON

The producers and show-runners of the series knew that they couldn’t adapt it from the games because too much of it would look silly. They had the noble task of trying to make a show that walked a line between the fun and whimsy of fantasy, while still capturing the grit and realism of medieval times. Even developments in characterization reflect a more grounded tone, like Jaskier being toned down from his effervescent counterpart.

Bridgerton is an American drama television series. A very high Creativity is indulged into the series. Two hundred years ago, the world blended with today’s colors—a must-watch series for people who love watching romantic genre films. Number 1. It has a perfect blend of drama, romance, comedy, and suspense:

Personally, I am used to period dramas or Regency dramas with a lot of heaviness in their tone and screenwriting. I had the same mindset before seeing Bridgerton. So, I was pleasantly surprised when the first few scenes were more light and humorous than anything else. In fact, one of my favourite scenes in the entire series is when Eloise, who you were initially expecting to be poised, stands at the bottom of the stairs and yells at her sister for moving faster. (That’s how Eloise is introduced to the audience.) I’m sure a newly minted fan would have a similar experience. At its core, Bridgerton is a feel-good Netflix series!

Number 2. It’s a period drama but infused with modern flavour

Another effort to adapt Bridgeton with modern lenses is the use of popular songs throughout the season. When I say season, I mean the season when London’s high society participated in many dance parties, where the couple were looking for future husbands, and music was an unchanging element. However, it wasn’t just classical music that was playing. A string quartet would be seen and heard in the background playing the songs of Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, and Billie Eilish, devoid of lyrics.

Number 3. You can easily find a character to identify with

I probably gave myself away about who my favourite Bridgerton is in point number two, but for the record, I love Eloise. (Seriously, Eloise is enough reason for people to fall in love with Bridgerton.) Her feistiness and dislike for big social gatherings speak to me. Not to mention, She has her ambitions, rather than finding a suitable husband for herself. But even then, she’s her kind of heroine. Other women might relate more to Daphne, who dreams of marrying for love and becoming a mother.

Number 4. The set design and costumes are too pretty for words

I think the most common reason people fall in love with Bridgerton is that everything about it is beautiful, from the charming appearance of old-world houses to the gorgeous floral dresses of Featheringtons. The comparison between Bridgerton and Featherington houses also proves how much effort has been put into each production design. Will Hugh Jones, the chief production designer of Bridgertons, was interviewed by Shondaland, and he shared the importance of distinguishing the old rich from the new rich. This explains why the Bridgertons came from old money.

Number 5. The ensemble cast is gorgeous and diverse

Drew Barrymore asked Dylan Sprouse what he thought about Bridgerton while Riverdale was on hiatus on her talk show. The Sprouse twin had this to say: “Those are some of the most beautiful actors I’ve ever seen in my life.” And to that, we couldn’t agree more. You need only look at a single still of Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page standing together as the season’s main couple to figure that out. Not only do all the actors in Bridgerton look great in Regency costumes, but we also like the diversity among the actors.

Number 6. The Story represented of the Series

Bridgerton is not all about a Boy Meets Girl then they fall in love. It’s beyond that and complicated as well. In the Series, Daphne is the main character who makes an impression while representing herself in front of Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) at the marriage market. Every man was scared to approach her because her brother Anthony Brigerton was too caring and made her get rid of them. There is no doubt Daphne is portrayed very well, and in the entire Series, she’ll grab all your attention. You’ll stick to romance carried out by the young couple.

Number 7. Talented Actors cast to play the role

Casting is done very well in this drama. This includes Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, who played and addressed race in the Series. She explains each detail and privilege, how well queen Charlotte utilized her powers to upraise people of color in Regency London. Here a varied history within a fictional world is formatted and represented to the audience, which turns out more difficult for the cast to perform. Viewers, scene by scene, get more obsessed with who Lady Whistledown is as Queen Charlotte and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie). There are many clues and ideas in the entire Series about her mysterious identity, but viewers have to wait until the truth gets revealed.

 

Number 9. The costumes and Set selected to represent in the Series are adorable.

Bridgerton is a high-budget series, as the attention to detail embedded is incredible. That we could expect as well, isn’t it?Each dress is so detailed even the decoration over the dress reflects the character wearing it. Daphne dressed in a soft white, white, and pale blues; the Featherington family, who like to guarantee that they are the center of attention, get up in more bright, attractive colors like bright yellows and pinks. The costume department for Bridgerton designed many costumes from scratch, and the cast spent a lot of time with these dresses.

 

 

Number 10. Soundtrack embedded to give a highly cinematic experience.

The only soundtrack, which played a vital role in giving the goosebumps, makes a reason to watch the Series. Meanwhile, the series being shot in the Regency era, you may get surprised by hearing Ariana Grande’s Thank you. The most appealing part was when fans heard Ms. Grande’s vocals instead of an instrumental version of the track.

Ozark, a series that was released on July 21, 2017. After the release, the web series has built huge applause in public, and Ozark is the only show that makes more giant waves in public with each new season release. Due to this, the web series was awarded Primetime Emmy and Screen Actor Guild, which is an outstanding achievement. In this video, we will enlighten some top secrets in each season from 1 to 3. Fact number 1: In this series, all of the football games are from the CFL. A strange Easter egg that Astute Ozark viewers can catch is football, which is sometimes played on TV. Oddly, these are part of the Canadian Football league. It’s a nod to the members of the production team who are fans of the Canadian company. Isn’t it a funny detail to catch?

Fact number 2: Remember Peter Mullan, who played the beautiful Role of Jacob Snell. Peter Mullan was Pursued Before the script of the series was even finished, Ozark is an enchanting series. Because of this, the Byrdes have to experience and adapt to so many things. Local people from the Ozark area have also provided a very curious flavor to the show’s supporting cast. Even in the early stages of the production, Bateman knew very well that he wanted to lock in Peter Mullan in the series. Then Bateman gets impressed with Mullan’s work, with a serious push at the top of the Lake.

Fact number 3: The Production group was wailing about the Loss Of some characters, that’s true! Sometimes to maintain the suspense in the play, the production team needs to make the character vanish from the space. According to a report represented by a Hollywood reporter, Bateman is open about how they didn’t enjoy losing any of their talented cast. But, due to where the drama heads, it’s something important, and as a result,they don’t want to rob the story of a proper ending.

Fact number 4: Jason Bateman was supposed to be the dominant director for Ozark season 1: Yes! Jason Bateman played a fantastic role in the character of Marty Byrde. Meanwhile, he’s also one of the series’ skillful directors. Bateman gave direction to four episodes in season one and some more episodes in the other seasons of Ozark. But his primary aim is to deliver a great approach to the entire season 1. The actors tell rotten tomatoes, Funny right! Due to some scheduling issues, Bateman wasn’t able to prepare to direct all the episodes. Hence, other directors come into the picture.

Fact number 5: The Show Isn’t Shooted On The Ozarks: This might be strange to you, but that’s true. While some of the selected scenes from the series, pilots were shooted on Lake Ozark in a place called Missouri. The maximum number of locations were shot in the Atlanta area on Lake Allatoona and Lake Lanier. This was only because to get rid of tax incentives that Georgia needs to pay for filming. Despite this, the film has covered up the geographical differences very well.

One of the obstacles is Ben Davis, Wendy’s brother. Were they shocked RIght? Tom Pelphrey strongly played the character who struggles with ‘bipolar disorder’ and ‘mental illness. She’s one of the best characters of the third season. To properly illustrate the difficulties of Ben Davis, Pelphrey took the Role very seriously and did their proper research over it.

Laura Linney gave the idea to Wendy for Becoming More Intense: Linney played an excellent role of Wendy Byrde, but she told The Wrap that she wanted to make sure that Wendy wasn’t just a typical character housewife and that she had more stakes.

Linney informed these issues to the production team, and Wendy was slowly given more to do with Marty’s character, and she’s taken on the risk of her own.

But that’s not the truth, the creator of Ozark, Bill Dubuque, didn’t launder money, but he has spent his many teenage years working at Ozarks. Dubuque had worked in the famous resort at the marina as a dockhand. On which the show is primarily based upon. Shadow and Bone, the series which had created a huge fan base since its release. You’ll be shocked to know that the series is now listed in the Top 10 Netflix series in the U.S. and worldwide. The movie demonstrates the story of Alina Starkov, a mapmaker who discovers some rare supernatural powers that could bring her country free from a path of darkness called Shadow Fold. Let’s head towards the Interesting Facts about Shadow And Bone.

Number 1: The Crow Club in Ketterdam was designed in meticulous detail. Yes! The gambling chips, playing cards, and currency used in the movie were all custom-made. The cards featured are special fictional suits and having a specific numbering system as well. This behind-the-scenes fact will surprise you. Number 2: Kit Young took motivation from enigmatic film characters like Captain Jack Sparrow, Dirty Harry, and Deadpool to prepare for his role as Jesper. Isn’t it cool, right! Amita Suman is a 23hyear old British-Nepalese actress who represented Inej Ghafa in a very appealing role. She spent her first seven years of her childhood in Nepal. After she moved to Brington and her family, she studied in the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London during the year 2018. She got some minor roles in British series casually, Ackley Bridge and Doctor Who, and U.S. fantasy-adventure series.

Number 5: Grisha is divided into three orders; the First one is Coporalki, which makes up the Order of the Living and the Dead and includes Healers, Heartrenders, and Tailors.Etherealki, and Materialki. The second one is Healers. They are pretty self-explanatory. The last is Heartrenders. They can slow a pulse, take the air from a body, and even crush a heart. They’re extremely powerful, and no one would want to cross them. Tailors have the ability to change their appearance, or someone else’s also, whether it’s going to be a small one or changing someone else’s appearance permanently.

Number 6: In the Shadow and Bone movie, some characters from the Six of Crows duology are also included. These are six criminals, Inej, Kaz, Nina, Jesper, Wylan, and Matthia, who attempt to pull off a massive theft. That’s an enormous expansion of Grishaverse, and most of the conjecture from fans has been how they’ll be linked to Alina’s story. From the trailer, you have noticed that it seems as though Inej, Kaz, Jesper, and venture to Ravka to abduct Alina while Nina and Matthias have their subplot.

Number 7: From what we know so far about the transformation, Shadow and Bone are first and foremost set in two places named Ravka and Ketterdam. Ravka is war-torn, split in two by the Shadow Fold, and home to the Darkling, Alina Starkov, and Mal Oretsev. Ketterdam is the capital city of Kerch and is home to the characters of Six of Crows. While many regions of it are kept by multiple criminal gangs like the Dime Lions and the Dregs, it’s also a prominent center for trade. Isn’t it amazing! Let’s move towards the following fact.

Number8: The cast took things from the set. It’s strange to know. But Yes! As we all know, Shadow and Bone are filled up with attractive costumes, and intricate fantasy set pieces also. So, the cast wanted to take some of the items to their home with them. “I kept my cane and my gloves, and when they were in my suitcase ready to go I sent an email like ‘This is alright, isn’t it?’ But the damage was already done,” Freddy Carter, who played an extraordinary role of Kaz Brekker, told Cosmopolitan U.K. Meanwhile, Kit Young took four of the guns he used while playing Jesper.

Number 9: Suman and Bardugo came up with a signature scent for Inej. When Bardugo visited the set to clear any doubts related to casting and answer any questions the cast had about their characters which they are going to play, she helped Suman extraordinarily get into character.” and I had a really lovely discussion about finding a scent for Inej. Because in the book she didn’t have a scent, but I wanted to find a smell that reminded me of where she had come from,” This was the official statement from Suman to Elite Daily.

Number 10: Inej’s knives used in the movie were sized down to fit into Suman’s costume. Inej wears enormous knives on her body at all times, and Partridge had to think of a creative idea all the time to fit all of them over Suman’s costume. “I was questioning how they were all going to fit, but Wendy did something really clever by sizing down all of the knives on me, so it doesn’t look small, but if Freddy or Kit were holding it with their big hands,” this is an official statement from Suman said to Elite Daily.

Castlevania is not only one of the most popular game series of all time, it’s also a fantastic anime with a lot of connections to the source material. With that said, it’s time to march straight to the castle with our list of the 10 Unknown Secrets You Don’t Know About Netflix’s Castlevania.

Number 1. The Script Was In Production For A Decade

Back in 2007, a blog run by Warren Ellis appeared to reveal that pre-production was beginning on a yet-unannounced animated film based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Periodically, snippets of his script or concept art for the production would appear, trickling information for years until it finally stopped. However, even then, eagle-eyed fans kept noticing that the site’s copyright continued to update, giving a faint flicker of hope like a dying candelabra in the castle crypt, until that too stopped. Now, the blog has been laid to rest, forever entombed, but its contents live on in the form of Netflix’s series, with Ellis as the main writer.

Number 2. Gaming Music

The music of the Castlevania series has long been known and has been part of the live orchestral series of video games. Producer Adi Shankar and composer Trevor Morris both wanted to use the original game’s soundtrack as much as possible when they came up with their musical ideas. At the battle at the end of Season Two, when Sypha, Alucard, and Trevor are fighting Dracula’s generals, the background music is the main theme from many of the games.

Number 3. Adi Shankar is known for his dark Adaptation

Adi Shankar has a long history of making violent, irreverent takes on beloved nostalgic properties, and as a producer of the 2017 Castlevania, he lives up to his reputation.

Born in India, he has made a name for himself by being the executive producer of 2012’s Dredd, an excellent film based on the A.D. 2000 property Judge Dredd, whose gritty atmosphere and straightforward action created a cult fanbase.

Best of all, his version of Castlevania is very popular. He will use video game adaptation magic for another series, especially the famous Assassin’s Creed property, which will also be available on Netflix.

Number 4. Alucard’s Fast Attack

When Alucard and Trevor first met at the climax of the first season of Netflix’s Castlevania, Belmont’s heir immediately realized that he was a vampire, and the two were fighting fiercely. Alucard uses attacks that video game fans can recognize. Like other powerful vampires such as Carmilla, he can disappear and reappear in another place, usually just because he moves too fast for the human eye. In video games, he has a similar move, which is part of a special attack. This battle was the best in the show so far and ended in a tie.

Number 5. The Original Cover Art Is Referenced

NES games are notorious for covering art that either lies about the game’s content or is a rendered, nightmare version of the main character.

Thankfully, the original Castlevania’s artwork was accurate and awesome, with Simon Belmont striking a heroic pose and brandishing his deadly whip in front of the dreaded castle.

However, one oddity about the art is that Simon appeared to have a holstered sword at his side, which was never used in-game. Thankfully, Trevor makes use of that same sword throughout the Netflix series, and it’s an excellent callback to fans who have always wanted to see a Belmont let loose with the sheathed weapon.

Number 6. Character Design True To The Originals

The writer for Castlevania, Warren Ellis, is an award-winning author, well-known for many creative endeavors, such as screenplays and novels. Still, his biggest claim to fame is the work he’s done in regards to comic books. Although a large body of his work is with original series, such as Red, Trees, and Injection, he’s also spent time as a writer for Marvel, with Moon Knight, X-Men, and even the groundwork for Iron Man 3 the Extremis arc. He’s rightfully received recognition for his efforts, too, as the recipient of seven Eagle Awards in various categories, the Sidewise Award, and the Best One-Shot from Wizard Magazine.

Number 7. Bloody Tears

A song initially composed for Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest, Bloody Tears can be heard in two episodes. It’s written by Kenichi Matsubara and is easily recognizable if you’ve listened to enough original music from the series.

Number 8. Braila Is A Real City

Braila is an actual city, and yes, it is indeed located in Romania. It’s a small port town situated on the Danube river. Why it was chosen as a destination for the transportation of Dracula’s castle is unclear, but it’s a lucky coincidence for anyone obsessed with the series and who wants to do a little bit of tourism.

Number 9: Dracula And Trevor Were Both In The Hobbit

The two major players in the Castlevania series have been Dracula and the Belmont family. It only fits that both Dracula and Trevor Belmont’s voice actors in the 2017 series have a history together in one specific property: The Hobbit. Graham McTavish, the man who brings Vlad Tepes to life, has a long list of television, film, and video game credits, doing everything from playing Tommy Holiday in Creed to acting as a mercenary in Rambo. However, his time as Dwalin in The Hobbit trilogy is likely what he’s best known for in the geeky realm. As Dwalin the dwarf, he survived the ordeal of the Lonely Mountain and the Battle of the Five Armies, going on to bid farewell to Bilbo with the rest of his comrades at its conclusion.

Number 10. Hector And Isaac In Season 3

Hector and Isaac are two of the Count’s forge masters in the Castlevania Netflix series. They do also appear in the games, although not many of them. The series Netflix developed gives them very detailed backstories. With Hector being captured and made one of Carmilla’s slaves at the end of the series, it seems clear that she has hopes of replacing Dracula as the highest-ranking vampire on Earth.

In the Netflix version, Antoni Porowski is the food and wine expert, Tan France is the fashion expert, Karamo Brown is the culture and lifestyle expert, Bobby Berk is the design expert, and Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming expert. The show contains beautiful, heartwarming moments that will leave viewers inspired.

Welcome back! Today I want to dive into the cast of the Netflix reality show, “Bling Empire”. Audiences have gone crazy for this show that gives us a peek into the glamorous lives of rich, Asian elite individuals in LA. And now I want to take a look at where they’re at now, after the major success of the first season of “Bling Empire”.

1. Let’s start with Kane Lim. He’s been known to be quite the fashionista, often posting his incredible fits on his Instagram. But he’s way more than just a pretty face. Lim is Real estate developer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He has his own clothing line and is still friends with Anna Shay, another notable cast member. He’s gearing up for the second season of “Bling empire”, and we definitely can’t wait to see more of him!
2. We talked a little bit about the ultra-rich Anna Shay in our last bit, but let’s take a closer look at this affluent woman. Shay is a self-described socialite and philanthropist, and she’s the wealthiest cast member of Bling Empire. While her father works in defense technology, she’s found a lot of ways to make other kinds of income, and has made a name for herself. But now, she’s doing something that a lot of people wouldn’t have expected — earning a construction license!
3. You’ll definitely want to stick around and see what’s up with Kevin Kreider. But first, let’s check in with Christine Chiu. As the co-founder of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, she leads a busy life with her husband. And there’s even been talk about expanding their family. But only time will tell!
4. Kelly Mi Li and her boyfriend Andrew Gray have officially broken things off! I can’t say I’m surprised, having seen the rocky road the two traveled down during season one. But according to Kelly, the two are working towards becoming better people on their own. So who knows, maybe we’ll see more of Kelly and Andrew in the future! But here’s something you might not have known about Kelly: she was actually the one who pitched “Bling Empire”! Talk about smart!
5. Jaime Xie’s been known for a lot of things, including her modeling! She’s known as a fashion entrepreneur, and still spends most of her time showing off her eye for clothes, shoes, and accessories.
6. Cherie Chan really rocked the boat when she was the one to pop the question to her long-time beau Jessey Lee. And while the two haven’t yet set a date, they’re happily spending their lives together with their daughter. Personally, I’m excited to see what kind of wedding these two have. I feel like that’s one wedding I’d really want to be invited to.
7. We mentioned Andrew Gray before, talking about his tumultuous relationship with Kelly Mi Li. The former Power Ranger is still pursuing an acting career, but has also started looking towards other avenues. He’s spent some time as a model, a music producer, a manager, and even owns a clothing line! Though he and Kelly have split, the two seem to be amicable on social media. I wonder what’s going to happen between them on season two?
8. And Andrew isn’t the only one who’s found success in music. Guy Tang is planning to release an album soon, and I personally can’t wait until it drops. The hairstylist is definitely full of talent, so it’ll be fascinating to see what he creates. And we can’t talk about music without mentioning Kim Lee. She’s been called the “The Calvin Harris of Asia”, and has a successful career as a DJ. In season one of Bling Empire, we saw her on a journey to find her real father, only to find that he’d passed away. We can only hope that season two brings good fortune for her!
9. We already talked about Cherie Chan, so let’s take a look at her famous fiancé, Jessey Lee. He’s been called a “prince of furniture”, and runs a successful furniture empire. Talk about sitting on a throne! He also co-owns Religion Tequila with his beloved Cherie. Audiences were excited to see the pure love shown by Chan and Lee, and adored the way that they focused on raising their family with traditional Chinese values. 10. Finally, let’s get into Kevin Kreider. Kevin has been our eyes and ears during our journey with the Bling Empire cast, and its been a lot of fun to see how he interacts with his wealthy friends. Originally hailing from Philadelphia, Kevin is a male model whose goal is to change the perception of Asian men in the media. Though Kreider has often been called the ‘black sheep’ of the Bling Empire family, he’s been able to hold his own throughout the show. And I for one can’t wait to see what he does in Season two!

Hi guys! Today I have something  really awesome to share with you. Whether you were a fan of the Karate Kid series, or have no idea what it’s about, you’ve probably heard of Netflix’s “Cobra Kai”! Here’s ten crazy facts about the show that you’ll definitely get a kick out of.

1. Will Smith is listed as a producer. Ever since his son starred in the 2010 remake of “The Karate Kid”, Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment, controlled a portion of the rights. So now, he gets to be credited for the show. And while the show doesn’t have much of a connection to the 2010 remake, Smith still seems to enjoy it! Ok, this one might have been pretty tame, but the next fact is pretty wild.
2. Ralph Macchio was asked to reprise the role of Danny before Cobra Kai…and he turned all of them down! Despite there being a bunch of opportunities for the actor, he said that none of the projects were “fresh”, and that nothing interested him enough to pursue them. That is, until Cobra Kai came along. This was the first project that he was totally fascinated by, and so he decided he would finally reprise his role. And we’re glad he did!
3. Blast from the past! Episode One has unseen footage from the original film. If you watch closely, you’ll see that there’s a few scenes that are from the first movie. But while they might look familiar, you also might realize that you’ve never seen those specific scenes before. There’s one part that flashes back to Danny and Johnny face off, and its full of never-before-seen footage! And while that’s crazy, the next fact I have for you might be the most exciting.
4. The show has a video game! If you need more Cobra Kai, you’re in luck. Released in October of 2020, the side-scrolling video game is available on a bunch of platforms and has the voice talents of a lot of the original actors, including Ralph Macchio. You can play it on your Nintendo switch, PlayStation four, or even the xbox one, so really, you have no excuse not to check it out!
5. Guys, this one is crazy. And it makes me crazy jealous. Did you know that Ralph actually owns the car that Mr. Miyagi gave to Danny in the movie? And it makes an appearance in Cobra Kai. The 1948 Ford Super De Luxe that was featured in that famous “wax-on, wax-off” scene was given to Ralph by the movie producer. And he still has it today! I wish my boss gave me a cool classic car.
6. Talk about high maintenance! If you’ve ever looked at Jacob Bertrand’s mile-Hugh Mohawk and thought, “hey, I would look good in a Mohawk”, think again. That is, unless you want to spend an hour getting ready every single day. Yeah, you heard me right. It takes a full hour to get his Mohawk just right. I think I’ll just stick with my five-minute hair routine.
7. Ok, this one is just a rumor, but I definitely have my fingers crossed about this. So, you might not have known that Cobra Kai considers all of the Karate Kid movies to be canon. Which means that Hillary Swank might make an appearance in the show! Having been the “Next Karate Kid”, it would be really cool to see her reprise her role as Julie Pierce and maybe even fight alongside Danny. But who knows if it’ll really happen? This next one, though, is something I had no idea about until I did some digging!
8. While we’re used to Cobra Kai being a Netflix show, did you know that it originally aired on YouTube premium? Back in May of 2018, the first season came out on YouTube Red, which, if you didn’t know, is YouTube’s premium subscription streaming service. And here’s something fun, while the creators originally were hoping to be picked up by Netflix, they were actually rejected at first! It’s pretty crazy that they’re now a Netflix series. I guess you really should never give up!
9. Can you imagine having to train for up to four hours a day every single day? Well that’s what actor Xolo Mariduena had to deal with when he was getting ready for his Cobra Kai role as Miguel Diaz. He’s said before that this was one of the hardest things he’s ever done. Which isn’t surprising, since he really kicks butt in the series. But if you want to train like Xolo, here’s what you gotta do. Just spend 2 to 4 hours a day doing professional stunts, martial arts, boxing, strength-training, and yoga. Just kidding. Don’t do that. You’ll be very sore.
10. Ok, guys, here’s the one you’ve all been waiting for. And for real, this one blew my mind when I heard it. So you know how Danny is considered the good guy in all the Karate Kid lore, right? Well what if he’s not a good guy after all? What if he’s, in fact, the villain? I mean, if you think about it, he’s been the one who picks a lot of fights with Johnny, and even goes so far as to steal the dude’s girlfriend. A lot of fans are beginning to speculate that Danny might not be the hero we’ve all grown to know and love.

Hi guys, thank you so much for tuning in! I don’t know about you, but I am a huge fan of the CBS show Blue Bloods. It’s the perfect combination of action, drama, and family. So today I want to talk about some of my favorite and least favorite characters, starting with Erin.

1. Erin Reagan is a district attorney and a single mom. She’s Frank’s daughter and mom to Nicky (who we’ll get into in a minute). I’m bringing her up first because she’s currently my least favorite character. While she’s the oldest of the Reagan kids, she seems cold and unforgiving. There’s something about her rigid attitude that’s always rubbed me the wrong way. And it seems that I’m definitely not alone in my feelings. We can only hope that she gets some major character development in season eleven, but as of right now, she’s at the bottom of my list.
2. Danny is next up on the list. He’s another one of Frank’s kids, and another character that I’m not a big fan of. While Danny is a decent person, and good at his job, he’s way too old-fashioned, and his temper is super out of line. He acts like a child most of the time, throwing a tantrum any time that things don’t go his way. And the reason they don’t go his way? Because he’s constantly trying to go above the law, and when he can’t he gets mad. I’m hoping that he starts to get less aggressive as the series goes on, but I don’t have too much hope for him.
3. Oh, Nicky. Poor, poor Nicky. While I don’t outright hate this character (even though she’s wildly unpopular with fans of the show), she definitely irritates me. Nicky is Erin’s daughter, and as she’s grown up in the series, she’s become kind of insufferable. Nicky is a super liberal contrast to her family, but she’s written in a way that makes her views seem pretty one-dimensional. Some fans of the show think that it’s a problem with the acting, and others think it’s the writing. Some people think she’s just a bad character. In any case, I am not a big fan of Nicky.
4. Now we’re getting into the characters that I prefer. Let’s start with Baker. She’s been a pretty minor character on the show, but she’s always incredibly loyal to Frank, and she’s a very smart and well-played young detective. I’m really excited to see where the show goes with Baker’s story, and I really hope that we get to see more of her in the upcoming season.
5. Jamie is another character that I really like. He also seems to be a fan favorite! He’s another one of Frank’s sons, and is the “golden child” of the Reagan family. Jamie won the hearts of audiences with his super easy-going attitude and his open-mindedness. He’s a pretty drastic contrast to his siblings, Danny and Erin, which makes it easy for him to be a favorite among fans of the series. He also became pretty popular when he started his relationship with Eddie, his now-wife. Their love story was a huge deal on the show, and quickly became a romance that we all loved to watch as it played out.
6. I can’t make a favorites list without Frank. Now, Frank is nowhere near a perfect character. But he’s definitely one of my top favorites. Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck, is the current NYPD police commissioner and the father of Danny, Erin, and Jamie. He had another son, Joe, who was killed in the line of duty. Frank is a tough, but fair man with a deep love for his children. He’s a widower, and had to deal with a lot of the family’s problems alone. But throughout it all, he never once took his pain out on his children, or grandchildren. His talents as a detective, and his steadfast but kind approach to dealing with problems make him an easy favorite on this list.
7. Ok, so finally, here is my ultimate favorite character on Blue Bloods. My list has changed a lot through the different seasons, and it definitely might change again with the new one coming out. But as of right now, Eddie is my number one. You might be asking why, since she’s not as prominent as the other characters/ But she’s pretty special, and I’m hoping she gets more screen time as the series continues. Eddie is extremely talented at her job, and her love story with Jamie that I mentioned previously makes her a stand-out character. It was so much fun to watch her and Jamie go from partners to lovers, and its always exciting to watch this feisty young lady at work.
