Daniel sees his poster at the tournament
Blast in the past, that’s what this scene is all about. Stay with me when I tell you about the first scene that correlates with this one.
As soon as Daniel enters the tournament hall, he notices a Karate Kid poster. His name as the champion, his success after working with mister Miyagi, his compassion towards karate, everything runs before his eyes. Not to judge but I think he had the best fight with the worst injuries. Still, Mr. Miyagi has trained him enough not to let his DEFENCE DOWN. That’s how you do it! (I think I am teary-eyed but this flashback from the 1990s Karate Kid version is an exciting scene, no doubt)
Robbie synthesizes the impenetrable defense
I find this scene exciting because it is not only a scene but an everyday problem in schools, BULLY. Robbie was a victim of bullying at school and watching him stand up with impenetrable defense, there is nothing we could have asked for more than this. Technically speaking, I think Robbie finally showed Daniel he had the guts and the muscle power to withstand any incoming attack.
You grow kid, you grow and beat these bullies, so nobody calls out on you!
Another reason why this scene is exciting is for the appreciation he is getting. Through struggle and hard work, ROBBIE IS OUR BOY.
Bert gets his ass kicked
Bert showed no mercy when he started training with Johnny. Well, it wasn’t his fault, he was trained that way,
Strike Hard, Strike First, No Mercy
Remember this slogan from 1984 karate kid when Johnny’s trainer John Kreese taught him. But bert was shown no mercy in return too. He was taken down in just ONE ATTACK.
Few jumps here and there, Bert goes down. But we can appreciate his power to withstand the toughness that came his way.
The last scene is my favourite for so many reasons. It has charisma, power, friendship, care, and everything. It excites me to see people bonding after years of broken trust and contact.

Lip transforms into hawk
Lip, and Demetri were always beaten and made them feel like losers. Lip had enough. Well, he was called lip for the cleft lip he had. Watching Johnny bring something like karate to the public, he made his choice. He joined cobra kai as HAWK.
Yup, colored hair, hawk eye, eagle attitude, we have a new yet old character HAWK. Seeing this, Demetri couldn’t believe his eyes that his friend was now the coolest person in high school. That’s an achievement HAWK! But keep calm on the attitude, too much of it will push people away from you.
Miguel beats ass galore in the lunchroom
Miguel saves Samantha from her ex’s wrong claims. For dumping him, Kyler wrongly announces how she forced him into doing adultery. The whole lunchroom becomes a show-room. Upon confrontation, Samantha gets pushed.
Not in front of Miguel, you cannot do that.
Beating faces, food tray slashed in Kyler’s stooges faces, thrift kicks in the ribs, and what now. But the beating stays on until the bully finally gives up and the principle steps in to stop the fight.
Don’t worry, nobody got hurt badly. Just a lesson needed to be learned. GO MIGUEL!

Aisha destroys Yasmin
Bullied for weight, betrayed by best friend Samantha, Yasmin needs to learn a lesson for all the rude treatment she gave Aisha.
This is no more the old, scared Aisha who will take a NO for an answer. The new, karate beater, natural cobra Aisha is someone you don’t want to mess with in no case. Once Aisha learns her birthday spot was taken by Aisha and her group, she confronts her by saying,
YOU ARE A BITCH AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE ALL FREAKS
Not today Yasmin, bad time, bad choice, and bad move to make on your birthday. Aisha gives her a wedgie in front of the whole crowd.
She is not to be messed with guys!
Daniel visits Mr. Miyagi’s grave
Okay now my favourite scene from whole of cobra kai. Mr. Miyagi was a true person. He trained Daniel La Russo, fought with him, for him and made him a stronger minded person with better personality. Daniel visits his grave and thanks him for everything he had done. Not to forget, he also shares his daily practical problems, hoping a voice will help him.
