Number 1 Marriage Story (2019
Marriage Story is a 2019 drama film written and directed by Noah Baumbach, who produced the film with David Heyman. Screeing stars are Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, with Laura Dern, Alan Alda, Ray Liotta, Julie Hagerty, and Merritt Wever in supporting roles. The film follows a married couple, an actress and a stage director role played by Johansson and Driver, going through a coast-to-coast divorce. The project was announced in November 2017, with the film cast joining that month. Filming took place in New York City and Los Angeles between January and April of the following year. Released by Netflix, the film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 29, 2019, and began a limited theatrical release on November 6, followed by digital streaming on December 6. Must watch the film, it’s amazing to have it.
Number 2 Blue Valentine (2010)
Blue Valentine is a 2010 American romantic drama film written and directed by Derek Cianfrance. Cianfrance, Cami Delavigne, and Joey Curtis wrote the film, and the band Grizzly Bear scored it. Blue Valentine depicts a married couple, played by Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, shifting back and forth in time between their courtship and the dissolution of their marriage several years later. The film received critical acclaim and Williams was nominated for both the Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, while Gosling received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama.
Number 3 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
After a painful breakup, Clementine role played by Kate Winslet undergoes a procedure to erase memories of her former boyfriend Joel role played by Jim Carrey from her mind. When Joel discovers that Clementine is going to extremes to forget their relationship, he undergoes the same procedure and slowly begins to forget the woman that he loved. Tracks is a 2013 Australian drama film directed by John Curran and starring Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver. It is an adaptation of Robyn Davidson’s memoir of the same name, chronicling the author’s nine-month journey on camels across the Australian desert. It was shown at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival Special Presentation and the 70th Venice International Film Festival 2013 in the Official Competition. It premiered in Australia as the opening film at the Adelaide Film Festival on 10 October 2013. The film has been shown at several other film festivals, including London, Vancouver, Telluride, Dubai, Sydney OpenAir, Dublin and Glasgow.

The Bling Ring is a 2013 satirical crime film written and directed by Sofia Coppola featuring an ensemble cast led by Katie Chang, Israel Broussard, Emma Watson, Taissa Farmiga, and Claire Julien. It is based on the 2010 Vanity Fair article “The Suspects Wore Louboutins” by Nancy Jo Sales, which dealt with a real-life gang known as the Bling Ring. The story follows a group of fame-obsessed teenagers who use the internet to track celebrities’ whereabouts in order to burgle their homes. The film was an international co-production by producers in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan. Coppola began developing a screenplay based on the real-life burglaries in December 2011. Casting took place in early 2012, and principal photography started in March of that same year in Los Angeles, California.
